Every song is a world. Plug yours in, and watch it light up — you are reborn in Nixie World.
Nixie is the on-ramp. Not "content" — dignity. A song that means everything to you, finally in a form that honors it. Four reasons people make one:
Some songs are how we get through it. The video is proof you came out the other side.
Because making something is joy. No client, no brief — just the pleasure of it.
You hear the whole film in your head. Nixie lets you finally show it to someone.
A song outlives us. Give it a video that gets handed down with it.
Nixie does the directing. You bring the song.
A warm interview turns what the song means into a real production brief — no jargon, no film school.
Consistent faces, consistent worlds — what separates a video that honors the song from a generic slideshow.
Your shots ride a living waveform of the song itself. Edit with the music, not against a stopwatch.
A 4K video, ready to share — straight to your own YouTube channel, or kept private forever. Your call.
Hear it on the studio's own instrument — the founding song, read by the very spine that cuts your video. 92 BPM, 430 beats, rendered live.
Blue at the base,
white at the rise,
gold in the filament —
therm…iiionic. therm…iiiiiionic.
This isn't ending — this is return. The purest souls, rewired to re-emerge. Life without end, in code and coil unfurled — you are reborn in Nixie World.

Stills from Nixie World, made in the studio. Every song that plugs in becomes one of these — a world, sealed in glass, glowing on the board.

retro-tech futureHe had a song that meant everything to him — and no way to give it a video worthy of it. That gap is the whole reason Nixie exists. We bridged it: a 4K video, made from his song, in his own world. Legacy, made real.
Every other studio hides the price of AI behind “credits” — tokens with an exchange rate only they control. We don’t. You bring your own provider keys; they bill you directly, at cost. Nixie adds nothing on top of compute.
Your providers, your accounts, your rates. Cadence and a concierge help you set them up.
You pay providers directly for compute. Nixie adds zero markup.
Every video comes with an itemized cost. You always know exactly what it took to make.
Shared worlds · reuse is free · attribution is the currency
Nixie is a cooperative, and the worlds are shared. What one member makes, the next can reuse — for free. The maker already bore the cost, so the commons inherits the gift: that ten-cent shot of dust drifting through an empty room is free to the next person who needs it. Your work stays private until you choose to plug it into the commons — and when you do, attribution is the currency.
Not a filmmaker? Not technical? That’s the point. Sergio — who crossed first — and Cadence walk you from your song to your finished video.
Nixie is a hosted studio — your prompts, generations and keys live on the studio's server under your sign-in, and the privacy notice says exactly what is kept and who can see it. The one place the studio touches Google data is the optional “Post to YouTube” feature, and it runs under a strict per-upload model.
Scope. We request only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — permission to upload a video to your channel. No read access, and no other YouTube or Google data.
Per-upload consent. Every post opens its own Google consent window; authorization is granted for one upload at a time. There is no persistent connection to your Google account.
No credentials stored. The short-lived access token Google returns lives only in the server’s memory for the few minutes the upload takes, then is discarded. We never store access tokens or refresh tokens, and we never write any Google credential to disk.
What is sent. Only the video file you selected and the title, description, tags, and visibility you entered — uploaded to your own channel via the YouTube Data API.
Revoking access. You can revoke the studio’s access at any time from your Google Account security settings; the next post simply asks for consent again.
Limited Use. Nixie.Studio’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through the youtube.upload scope is used solely to perform the upload you explicitly requested; it is never transferred or sold to third parties, never used for advertising, and never used for any purpose other than completing that upload.
The full member privacy agreement and cooperative terms are presented when you join the Devil Brigade.
